First off I must point out that you cannot see both places in one day.
The weather forecast was 100% chance of rain by noon tapering to 30% by 4:00 PM. We went to CVS and bought umbrellas. It did not rain a drop.
We spent three and a half hours in the Henry Ford Museum and did not see everything in the museum. What we did see was done way too quickly.

I met up with Wayne Hatty, who I'd arranged to stay with as he had a good room in the Embassy Suites at Livonia, about 25 miles from the centre of town.
On Thursday we went to the Ford Museum and Greenfield Village together, which was well worth the entry fee. Just a couple of things we saw:
