Entre deux mondes...
Dire que Dubai nous ennuie serait peut etre un peu excessif (quoique), mais nous poursuivons la visite de la ville, sans élan pour tout dire.
On en a quand meme ras le bol des centres commerciaux, des rues vides sans charme, du manque de contact avec les locaux...tout ça sous 17 degrés...ou 45 selon le lieu.
Nous décidons de passer quelques heures à la plage...Jumeirah..ce nom a toujours sonné en moi..

Busy, Busy!
... it would be a good idea, after school had been in session for 2 weeks, to completely rearrange all of our classes! I still have all the same kids, but now they're in different class times. Which meant I got to completely redo all of my attendance, grade books, and seating charts! YAY! Edline is finally up and running now, which is good....I think. It still has a lot of glitches to get worked out, but supposedly it has potential to be a good ...
What a week!
... all schools), I think he's done wonders for the place. I've heard stories of what the school used to be like before our current principal came, and comparing that to what it is now is night and day. He is very supportive of the teachers - gives us complete autonomy in the classroom, and is one of those "change the world" people who just wants to make a difference. He's got my support.

... it became an issue. Therefore, students are no longer allowed to wear any kind of jewelry or nail polish at school, and their dress code restricts them to a white shirt with light gray pants. Also for this same reason, students are not allowed to talk in Arabic during any class (apart from Muslim studies), so that no issues arise without the teacher even being aware.
However, despite these warnings, I am very much looking forward to Sunday ...
