Nando (who possessed a passing resemblance to a short Freddie Mercury) was as helpful as anyone could be. These are the things we will miss most about our travels, even if we did share the moment with a stray dog. Tata Ko Samet- see you around. ...

Today has been another special day on Koh Samet. We went for the scooter hire again and had lots more fun. We went almost to the end of the island where we found the 'danger' sign for the steep slope...it was quite steep but no problem for Nic. We then went to our favourite pier at Ao Lung Dam but didn't stay long as there were two huge boatloads of day trippers and we are fussy about our fishing spots. Back in town we had some gorgeous food in a very low key place...Nic ...
