... they look joined up by a sand bar but as you get nearer you can see this is not actually the case.

Nothing at all on these islands - just peace and quiet. Perfect - if it wasn't for the Chinese screeching and shouting. Oh well!

This was our last stop and as thunder clouds gathered we sped off back to Kho Samet.

Despite the lak of friendliness of the people on the boat, I had had a really lovely day :-)

... say I won't return. I've spent most of today by the pool planning the next part of our trip. Oh, i also ate my first really weird thing. BBQ'd squid. It tasted horrible and i put a few pics of it on here. Have a great week, and I'll update you soon! ... Beach Hotel). It is a very nice room with air conditioning, a balcony and a swimming pool. We got to walk around for a bit before the boys, Tommi & Jarmo arrived. Unfortunately, the location is not so nice...the beach is quite dirty, there is not too much to do here and there is a lot of litter and stray dogs. A lot of people go to Rayong to go to Koh Samet, which is an island nearby...and this is where I am writing to you!

Koh Samet is really lovely. ...

... of people. The next day I had banana pancakes for breakfast and spent the whole day on the beach. That night I met a great group of people: Larissa and Dana were from Cali and Woody, Ric*********y, and Christian were from England. We went to an English restaurant for dinner and then went out to a place called Sunset Bar. It was a simple bar on the beach that had lots of beach chairs and tables set out in the ...
