... lots of little villages and fields.

So, 8 3/4hr flight to Sydney which I amazingly slept quite a bit and then a bit of a wait in Sydney and eventually I got in to Adelaide about 2PM Friday - nearly 24 hours from Rayong to Adelaide!

This was a pretty short trip and obviously being a work trip, I didn't get to sightsee much, but I really did enjoy my trip and would love to go back and spend more time there. Oh well, there is another destination to plan for.....

... us to stay in. It was pretty rotten around Rayon with nothing to do, no transport and dirty beaches so we opted for somewhere else instead. He droves us to the ferry port of Ko Samet, a little island just off the coast, we bought speed boat tickets and booked a room before heading over straight from the boat to the beach front door of the hotel. The Hotel was pretty basic but clean with an awesome beach out the front door.
By this time it was early evening so ...

... met some incredible people and experienced some amazing places, struggled through some tough times, indulged in plenty of good times and did things I'd never done before. We left Wel's place at about 4pm, in a taxi as usual.
