I awaken at 7am because the jungle outside my window is alive. Another sunny day. I am ready to change locations. We take a cab an hour south to Petong Beach. We were lucky enough to all share a 6 bed dorm which was spacious and clean (this makes a huge difference I assure you!), the beach was gorgeous with shallow crystal clear water which helped Kels conquer the fear of fish in the sea! The majority of our time was spent recouping after being well and truly Koh Phanganed!! - lazing on the beach in the sun and bat and ball competitions - truly ...

... our last visit and the rest of our trip and the Thai food to be very bland, even for us westerners. They have widened the footpaths which in our opinion has made it better, also I noticed a lot of railings at intersections and the busy parts down at Bangla rd. which is another plus.

There is plenty of markets around selling clothes, souvenirs, sunglasses, shoes etc. A lot of ...
