    I was supposed to go help out in Rosseau today to help with preparation for the wedding. But, instead, we had lots of visitors come by Mom's house. Evan, Amy and their baby Connor came by after lunch, followed by Owen and then Father Terry. Josh, Melody and Bronwyn arrived by bus around 6:00 and we pulled together a huge spaghetti and meatball supper.     ... path, then across the road at a couple of spots, down to the public docks and launch...then we stopped at a beach and overturned the canoe to give it a good wash...the stern was full of various bugs that had collected there during our travels...and after an hour long paddle both into and with the wind almost all the way to Santa's Village and back...we loaded the canoe on its caddy ...

    ... there was a grocery store there, too, but better stocked than the one at King's Bay. We were told that we just needed to boat back to the previous bay to get to the store. However, one of the employees mentioned that you could hike it, but that it was a bit challenging. We opted for that option since we all needed some exercise. It was a challenge!     By about noon, it looked like things were clearing up, so we decided to head out.
