I made it :) We started bright and early talking a tour of the Clouded Leopard Breeding Facility at the Khow Khaow Open Zoo in Chonburi, Thailand The facility is beautiful and set on the top of a hill overlooking the zoo. It houses 39 Clouded Leopards, some of which were rescued or handed over from villagers. Today I just observed the working day of the keepers ...

The bungalows were set back into the and cliff covered with rainforest, with steep, wonky, stony steps leading up to the reception and living areas. Don't you just love rock climbing with a backpack after a long day of travelling?! Malai, showed us into our hut (colourfully painted shed) and we met our room mate!! ...

... It was interesting. On our flight to Yangon they served food and a drink. This on a flight that is actually an hour flying time! Hot rolls or croissants, omelet, chicken skewer, vegetables, fruit, yogurt and coffee or tea with real silverware! It was actually good! Much better than the food on the flights getting here. US airlines take note. On a 5 1/2 hour flight from NY they don't even give you peanuts or pretzels any more! As soon as we finished eating they ...
