... morning for a bit of shopping and a look around, then we came back and went to the club gym at the compound for a bit of a workout (in an attempt to get fit before the big trek -turns out Sarah's much fitter/stronger/better than me!!) and then a nice relaxing swim and a bit of lazing by the pool. ... were happy for us to watch, making sure we were standing in the right place so we could see. We then went to the boatyard in Sur and watched the men at work on the big dhows. Truly amazing – they don't work with any plans and the boat is built from the outside in, with the inner timbers put in afterwards, using mostly hand tools.     the dinner was no pleasure and also the breakfast.
    If you have the chance chose another hotel.
