Ranyatavi Resort Khao Lak

Manta Queen 1 just came back today from the first great 4 day trip to the Similan islands. Bringing nice pic's and videos, will upload them soon.<br><br>Also I will soon move to my new office in Bang Niang in the Beach road, just waiting for the last Furnitures :-)<br>

... wondered whether it will actually happen, but it finally turned out ok..we were 4 of us who went diving -me and Irina and Lora, girlo from New Zealand who actually was doing 2 day stay `(I just so wish I could have stayed) and a brittish guy John, expat living on the west coast of Thailand...the boat is considered to be luxury one and it was super nice..they have 2 nd floow where food was served and there is nice TV and books and a lounge for relaxation, the whole 3rd floor deck ...

So here I am once again writing and spilling forth my inner thoughts and life for all to read and ponder and sift through. I have written a few posts since I arrived back in Thailand and have talked about various things but never really mentioned ninny (for those new readers she is the long time girlfriend of yours truly). We were laying on bare mattresses with no sheets or anything, so we just prayed that there was no lice or bed bugs on the boat. After the 9-hour boat ride, it was another 3 hours by bus to Khao Lak and another 30-minute walk in the hot sun with our backpacks on to our hotel. ... I admit I also made the mistake of choosing a particular pose of the King on HUGE posters here as a landmark only to discover that this same pose and sized poster is virtually everywhere! Needless to say I spent a lot of time backtracking etc. Anyway the last couple of days have been spent walking around local museums, the Chaingmai zoo and the endless shopping stalls, night bazaars and pubs and of course my daily massages during the day. ... as we can. The fireworks end with booms and sparkles like gilded aluminum. When they have drunk enough beer and I have lost my voice, we move out of the fog descending from the fire in the sky of Old City. We send off one last khrathong each on the canal in the New City. They cling together and only the middle one stays lit. Jan offers to let me use the other bed in his room, but I stay up most of the night anyway.

... to rent bikes and head off to Si Satchanalai-Chaliang Historical Park (try saying that after a few Thai whiskeys...) 54 kilometers away. So this time we rented the motorised variety.
