Day 35 Sunday 5th July. La Crosse to Champaign, Ilinois, 382 miles

It's going to be a hot one today and we have finally lost all that smoke from the wildfires, so plenty of glorious sunshine look forward to.

A ride in two halves today.

We start with a lovely 150 miles or so, following the mississippi along the the Great River Road to Prairie Du Chief, Lancaster, Dubuque, Bellevue and Clinton. ...

It's the 4th July! Lovely 95 miles today. Perfect temperature and flat landscape mostly consisting of corn and soya beans

Discovered strawberry bread at SAG. Life changing.

Fun dinner. Guessing are fireworks tonight but no-one able to stay up for the 9.30-11 celebrations!

Then he needed to blow his nose and said, "morning dew." Bahahahaha. So far so good in the ...

Knowing that tomorrow is going to be the start of a crazy week for us, I am getting an early start on this entry.

Tomorrow marks the soft start to our travels to Korea. We will be up early to say our tearful byes to Emmie-dog (who will be staying with Grandpa Marty & GG for a couple of weeks before heading to Alaska with Grammma and Gramps). The airlines was not able to accommodate Emmie from Japan to Korea. I ...
