Trek Day 3
... made us sausages and hot tea and coffee. The rest of the group then ran ahead again. This time Yussi and I were joined by Dr. Redmond and Pam (Pam's knee hurt her.) There were a lot of steps and some very steep inclines. It was a nice walk, the weather was cool, the air is very crisp, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. After the walk we went back to the station and packed and ate a late lunch/dinner. We then drove back to Rovaniemi.

Trek day 1
... have some restricted areas. We watched a video on the national park and heard a small lecture on it. We then went to their research facililty. They have a school here and do reseach on the plants, animals, soil, ect. They had a pretty cool lab,although small. We are staying in some of the dorms. A lot of scientists come here becuase the soil is so rich calcium. They also have some rare orchids growing. We ate dinner...small whole fish with seasoning on ...
