... day, but here I would have to wait until sometime in September to see a sunset.(I still can't get used to the midnight sun)

We did visit a museum about 10km away called Naumaniemi. All the visits to Posio and not once have we been here but what a pleasant surprise. A beautiful old house by the lake with all the original furniture and fixtures from over one hundred years ago. There are other old buildings, craft shop, ...

... a piece of Reindeer horn for the drumstick, so to speak.

Thanks to the magic of the interweb, I can 'edit to add’ a picture of my finished Sami Drum. I wanted to decorate it with symbols relevant to my trip, hence the Reindeers, and the Aurora Borealis, the Tepee and Sami Village, etc. I might have added more, had I had more time, but according to Meiju, they can be as sparse or as crowded with symbols as you want them to be.

      Certified ;O)

... t get back until almost 8pm, going straight into dinner on our return. It is now after 11pm, and I need a shower and bed me thinks. I am having oodles of fun, but I'm tired today. Tomorrow, we build quinzees on the edge of the frozen lake, with the possibility of spending the night in one, which will be tiring too, but at least everything has stopped aching after the ice climbing attempt :O/
