... 8217;s cleanest beach in 2006.
The
attractive beach front of the Surfers Paradise beach is lined with
restaurants, cafes, night clubs and accommodation sites. As the name
suggests, Surfers Paradise beach lends itself to surfing, wake
boarding, and jet-skiing. Beach volley ball is a popular beach sport as
well.

... was only one good place to eat by the hotel - Manohar's, and judging by the crowds there on the weekends most people in Bhopal agree. We ate there so often, that one of the waiters became our friend and even helped us get a table on a particularly crowded Sunday night. There are three excellent museums in Bhopal, and Calvin and I had a great time spending the better part of a day ...

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India el8... as cannot go to the washroom on the day train, no seat, so no one to watch my bag and won't bother to chain it up), and was getting quite bored. Finally, my train arrived! I spent the next 4 hours sitting on someone else's bag in between 2 wagons, one being the cooking wagon. Was really happy when I finally reached Bhopal at 7H40pm instead of 3H30pm like I had hoped for. Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Had to go there to reach a few ...

Sundervan, India mayli... beggars were more user friendly. The old market was much better in the early evening, not so busy and all lit up. There was a very attractive spice market but I don't think that Bhopal will be on my itinerary for future trips to India. Our train to Delhi was late and we were standing on the platform for quite some time which inevitably attracted a young beggar. This must have been at least a cousin of the new market beggars because he was also very ...
Bhopal, India prbrown... I don't know what happened to the shopkeeping career. He took us out to his farm to meet his family then we went to someone elses farm to look at his crops, lentils, chick peas and green peas. The farm was about 50m square, this certainly would not have been viable in Australia. We got a pocketful of beans and peas and went on our way again. We were soon joined by a group of boys on their way to school, haven't quite worked out the times of school here, kids just seem to ...
Sanchi, India prbrown... call back home, was startled (as was he) to see another western face - a guy from Slovenia - who really hated Bhopal! Getting back to my hotel, I discovered that there had been two bombs exploded in the holiest Indian town of Varanasi with 20 dead.... I'll need to keep an eye on the situation in Uttar Pradesh (where Varanasi is based) as I'm due to go there in a week or so and there is often inter-religion tension and they think this might have been the situation with these bombs.
