We are winding up our trip to Dallas and have spent the time with Simon and his family. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday has meant beautiful weather with daytime temperatures reaching 21 degrees and very sunny. We have visited a number of parks and done a few good walks. Sunday we went to Lewisville. We miss the coffee shops attached to the parks we have back in Australia. On Monday Steve and Christine went to Grapevine Mills DFO to try and retrieve the taxes ...

The park has many camping sites allowing for walking and ...

This morning we picked the players up from North Crowley High School, after their 2 nights of being billeted with local families. From there we drove into Dallas for a tour of The Sixth Floor Museum which is in the old Dallas Book Depository, from where President John F Kennedy was shot in 1963. It was fascinating looking at the history of JFK's term as president, including the ...

We went to a party arranged from parents of Gretchen's team mate. The area, where they live, is known for having the biggest and craziest lights, so the kids went to a walk through the neighborhood to watch the lights. It was amazing and crazy in the same ...
