    ... tea and making some scones.The sunset this evening is just lovely. After we had eaten we went for a drink and chat in the Den with Paul. Day 9 Maintenance Dept is being very patient with the swine of a cupboard door. Day 2 of trying make it fit.     Flying from Heathrow

    ... movies, have a couple of nice feeds, doze for about half an hour and then its touchdown time at KLIA around 7:00am local time. I say goodbye to Col and Gill as they will be catching the onward flight to Brisbane around 10:15 and after gathering my bags - and not even seeing any customs area - catch the KLIA express train into KL Sentral. From there its only a short walk to my hotel.

    Within the Arboretum is the Millennium Chapel of Peace and Forgiveness where, at 11 am each day, an act of remembrance takes place. The whole touring party (minus Panda who left yesterday) attended today. Following the two minutes silence, accompanied by the Last Post and Reveille, there was an introductory talk about the Arboretum.     We departed Saas Grund at about 7pm on the 25th. This was after a great meal of baked potatoes with fillings, which really hit the spot. Before dinner the sun came out, after a bit of rain in the late afternoon and we were able to load the coach in cloudy but dry conditions.
    The first stage was to a service station in Switzerland at about 10.25 for a quick break before carrying on to Calais.

    JJ slept for about ten hours in total before waking up at 6.30 ...
