We had looked at things to do and the weather was changeable. I had seen something about Denby pottery and when I mentioned that all thought it was a great idea. Pip had taken the day off too. Denby has been making pottery near Derby for over 200 years. As well as the factory they have a group of shops around there and also "Pottery Beach" - an overgrown sandpit for kids to play in. We explored the shops and then it was time for the craft tour - not the full factory that ...

Up the motorway, before arriving at the familiar roads, turning into a particularly familiar one, the garden, mum, hugs, the squealing barking wriggling dog, the smells, the house, home.
