... trick-or-treating" from room to room carrying their plates, bowls, spoons, forks, etc. We took turns serving our chili and cornbread while the others grabbed their fill. There was so much to eat! Main courses, side dishes, gravies, sauces, dessert, oh my! So delicious.

Farewell Party

The good byes are starting to pour in and I'm not a fan. Tonight was the "Farewell Party" for the ESN members. The short version is that this is one of the most "sketch" parties I've ever been to. When we first got to the address I just kinda laughed and my mouth dropped open. Sure enough, we were right.

The food was so good, so so good! I left feeling so at peace and content. It brought up some bitter sweet memories and really emphasized the distance between me and my family on this special day. I yearn to be with everyone celebrating and feasting. it is always something I've really enjoyed.
