We've prepared for this moment: endless online research, highlighting maps (we won't be using a GPS.. yes by choice!), creating playlists and cd's, contacting friends to meet up with along the way, finding a puppy sitter for Charles (thanks again, Mamie & Papaw!), reserving hotels (all free thanks to Kyle's Choice Hotel points!), looking up weather at all of our ...

... built these mounds to track the seasons and somewhat of a calendar. The Hopewell indians came along later and used some of the mounds for burial sites. So there is your history lesson, if you want to know more look up the state park and they give you a little more info.
