... sunscreen, and sat in beach chairs by the water. The water felt good, but was like bathwater. There was a good amount of seaweed in the water, and the waves were nice. We enjoyed relaxing and chatting all day.

Met the guys at Doc's Restaurant for dinner. Had tropical drinks (Piņa Colada, Mai Tai) and delicious seafood. There was a singer there who played lots of Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, etc. The sunset was beautiful out over Laguna ...

... tankers hauling oil on the road and the number of new oil field supply businesses going up were quite astonishing. It was as if Texas was determined to supply all the oil we need. Cool, huh?
