The flight and bus connections were all very easy, so here I am now in Marmaris, Turkey. I spent all day in the Albatros Marina going over one potential boat purchase, hitch-hiked back to town at end of the day, ...

Today we are taking a bus ride of 1.5 hours to historic Dalyan. This is an ancient city located on the Dalyan river. This river meanders from Koycegiz Lake down to the ocean. On the way it passes through large ...

... corner who cooked me a very nice mince meat flat bread. Just after lunch the rain started, very heavy with loud thunder thrown in. The hotel had a power cut. They got the lifts going again fairly swiftly but wifi was out for the day. After the downpour we walked up to the old village which was much quieter but more run down. They really do have chickens in all the back yards. After our stroll we had an hour in the sun by the pool then it was waffle time. ...
