... Lord in Jerusalem to worship in the temple there. By God's grace, we rejoice each Lord's Day as we go to the house of The Lord.

The first place we visited was the Mount of Olives, the mount from which Jesus ascended. It was pretty amazing to stand up there. Dispensational Christians understand that Jesus will return to this very mount (Zechariah 14:4); there were many Christians in our group who hold to dispensational theology, so this ...

... were able to remove the boat from under the shoreline without destroying it using a process which was quite fascinating.

Following our Sea of Galilee experiences, we traveled over to the town of Chorazin. We were reminded of Matthew 11:22 ff where Jesus condemned Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum for their unbelief. The ruins there are fascinating and well preserved. We were especially impressed by the remains of the ...

... harder materials to collapse under its own weight, causing the crater like environment. This is supposed to be one of the nicest hikes in Israel. We got up rather early on Friday March 28, 2014 to begin this hike. For once we decided to eat breakfast as a group outside instead at the Aroma off the side of the highway.

Our first stop was at Yerucham Park, a park created by a man-made lake near the Israeli town of Yeruham, which has been a development ...

... Garry had a good feeling
about Danon this time, though Garry often suffers from an overabundance of
optimism. He got it right this time. 10 minutes later than the agreed time (20
minutes earlier than Beduoin Mean Time) we climbed into Danon's Jeep. Barely 24
hours after we headed south we were back home, safe and sound, having
negotiated THE carbolet, or at least half of it. Our own private Jerusalem was
difficult, but not nearly as hard as it's made out to be.

Well, today is a free day until we head to the airport tonight at about 9:00pm. As a result we have all scattered... some resting, some getting one last look at the city. And I am here, with you faithful readers, trying to get out 2 more blog entries.

The first well be what we did yesterday, our last day of touring. As with my last post, as time is an issue today, I'm just going to post a bunch of pictures and ...
