    ... strong with Cuban-Americans. The best analogy he gave was "the elephant and the grass": whether the elephants make love or war the grass underneath them still gets trampled. What do Cubans want? Relations with respect. He left us all with a lot to think about.

    The sugar cane industry began in Guanabacao, south of Havana, so the Afro-Cuban religion is very strong here due to all the slaves brought to the area to work the cane fields.
