... schedule, sheesh. I love breakfast but here they barely eat in the morning and then eat a big lunch, a "snack" later then a nice dinner at like 10pm.. Being a bit jet lagged has made dinner at 10 very hard for me. But I'm starting to get used to it. And I already started school which was a bit overwhelming but my classes sound interesting and we'll see how that goes. Trying to stay positive and make the best of ...

... with tight timing sailing solo, I should have/could have prepared the genoa before left just in case! Finally I had to let the main flap and getting wet on foredeck while getting smashed by the 2 meter waves, another great lesson learned in the hard way. ... 8221; (for want of a
better word) a rather awkard night with the swell rolling in ever so
gently which reminded us of Alderney and Dale (Pembrokeshire) where
we would roll and come to an abrupt halt with a squeak of the ropes
and the rub of the fenders against the pontoon (except in Alderney
where there was no pontoon just an abrupt halt). At least we got a
decent sail in the day before and did not have to pay for the berth.

A broken bed and a horrible goodbye

A travel blog entry by ellabright on Jul 27, 2014

... while Sam stood there awkwardly which I'm kinda mad about since he wasn't really that good of friends with Zak but whatever. We told each other we would see each other soon and me and Sophie watched as he drove away. After that I could not stop crying. I went into the computer room and called Jonathan bawling and all he did was laugh. apparently I just kept saying over and over that Zak was gay so he didn't need to feel threatened. I went to bed bawling and continued to cry into my sleep.
