There are two Towers and 11 rides which start from the towers. The steepest ride on the Neptune Tower is the Leap of Faith and John decided we would start with that. God it was steep and scary - straight down but one advantage is that its quick. We all went on that and then went onto another called the Rapids. We had plastic blowup rings which we sat on and went down canals, bouncing off the walls and spinning around for quite a while.

Mel has a emirates platinum loyalty card that they get discounts for it maybe small at the time but the last few days it has saved a bucket load. The hotel was stunning with a beautiful floral Easter display still on show. What a wonderful shopping and dining ...

Most people will tell you that it never rains in Dubai. Well apparently today was the 8th wet day in the last year and we were lucky enough to experience it. Quite a lot of rain as well. Dubai is certainly not designed for water and the various shade sails set up in the city because of the intense heat aren't that flash for rain. Anyway we of course made the most of it and enjoyed splashing in the puddles and ducking under the odd shelter. Was still mild ...
