    ... Club. It was very fancy and I played 9 holes on the par 3 course. It was not what I was expecting but you live and learn. They also have a yacht club there so I had a bit of a nosey around there as well. I am thinking I will go skiing tomorrow morning before I fly home tomorrow night.

    ... on a Falooda which turned out to be an ice cream, rose milk and vermicelli smoothie. Took heaps of photos of the very sandy atmosphere which looked liked fog and blurred the outlines of the buildings. Did a trip down the Little Dubai Creek on a dhow and saw how they used the ancient transport methods on the latest electronic equipment. Took Graham & Jessie to the Els Golf Club for dinner.     ... just how much we rely on our phones! After trying to sell us double the amount of food that we actually wanted, our Pakistani Cook was able to get one of his compadres to translate for us so that we could pinpoint our location and work out which way we needed to head to get to our hotel. Our Pakistani Cook then tried to sell us a taxi that we also didn't want - he was always trying to be so "helpful".

    ... cruise liner. We went on a catamaran trip and then came back for an ice cream at one of the numerous waterside cafes. Then we caught the metro again to The Dubai Mall although it was at least a mile undercover walk from the train to the mall.
