Made of white marble and gold with pillars and domes, the place of worship can hold up to 40,000 people in the courtyard and main prayer hall and is home to the world's largest Persian carpet! The timing of our visit was such that we were able to hear the sunset call to prayer. Playing from the speakers, the captivating Arabic song symbolises that it's time to come in to pray.
