3) Visit to Emirates Palace
Emirates Palace is a very very grand hotel in Abu Dhabi. I think its the most expensive hotel ever built but I need to check with google as I may be wrong!!
Anyway, we went for a drink to the beach bar one evening and it was lovely!!

... the taxi rocked from side to side. The taxi driver didn't even blink but we got quite a fright. It really isn't unusual to see cars doing 140km/h in the city, where the limit is generally 60km/h. ... I hope to find some nice places to watch the games in public although the timing will be a bit tough as most of the games are ion the late evening or even night hours. Television is installed and I have about 500 channels !. Sounds great but to be honest 480 channels are indian and arabic. Boring and of course you do not understand a word. They have a special Bundesliga channel. Cool but with arabic commentary and these guys always so excited they shout all the time ...
