... do have to admit though, the desert sun really zaps you, we were exhausted by the time we hit the airport. It is hard to comprehend the size and grandeur of all that Dubai has already built, and is still planning to build. We would love to come back in 5 or 10 years to see all that they have added, the World Expo, held every five years in varying cities, will be held in Dubai in 2020, so who knows, maybe we will have to plan another trip then. We all had a shot on the board, but one time when Elodie and I went out a big wave crashed right on top of us and I lost my hat in the commotion L. We searched high and low, but sadly my lovely hat (which was a mothers day present, and I loved it) is continuing its own Arabian adventure without ...

... main breakfast was a return to New York for a mini bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Yum, yum, yum! Definitely on the agenda for tomorrow.

At 8.00 on the dot our pick up arrived. We ended up going to a bigger bus in the central city, where we joined lots of others for our tour. We started off on the old side of the Creek, with a stop at the Creek (we'd call it a large river), looking at the dhows and the new part of Dubai on ...
