      ... see, IS gold!
      Dinner was at the Hanoi Restaurant, with an interesting variety of Vietnamese foods listed on the menu. Carol chose a chicken salad with thin noodles with a light vinegar dressing. Heather chose a rice and chicken dish with ginger sauce. We ate inside tonight with 6 seated at the table representing the countries of Greece, Egypt, USA and Canada!

      ... a video arcade with a roller coaster and dogem cars to amuse him for the morning. We then drove to Dubai in Jo's car with the top down and checked into a 5- star hotel that Jo had booked for us on 'The Palm' (a man-made island shaped like a huge palm tree).       ... very organised and security is very calm - even though you have to take shoes and all jewellery off. The international duty free section isn't as large as Melbourne and the food hall doesn't have a big range of choices. I did notice the gate lounges have seats that I think you can extend the foot rest and have a snooze in - I will be testing them out very soon.
