We have also discovered (through the recommendation of a work friend) a LOVELY Thai restaurant called Smoking Doll on Al Reem Island in the Boutique Mall. It is absolutely amazing food!!

Finally, I also did an experiment where I froze an activia yoghurt to see if it made 'frozen yoghurt' as I have been getting into eating this and sorbets rather than ice cream!...it didnt really work!! Although...frozen grapes were nice!! :) xx

Mum and Em then went off to have Mum's Mother's Day gift of manicure and pedicure. Lunch at home, Skype with Sam ...

I am sure that also here people will contact me for that and ...

... bank of skyscrapers with no small buildings in between. Some of the buildings are incredible such as the multi-tower Etihad Towers. We were fortunate enough to stumble upon the final day of the Qasr al Hosn Festival in the evening. This is an annual event that celebrates UAE culture and traditions at the Al Hosr Fort. We saw a range of interesting displays/activities explaining how fish nets are weaved (fishing and pearling used to be critical for the Abu Dhabi economy prior to ...
