... 50 shades of **** thinking that any minute someone would spot me and have me flogged. The food was abysmal. I thought I was clever ordering a diabetic meal, alas no, this chicken creation appeared that was so inedible that for once I never touched my airplane food. Everyone else got cake and I got a banana, I was jealous. I had forgotten to book a seat next to the toilet and racked up 9 times in 7 hours, a world record no less. Talk about trying to be as conspicuous as possible. ...
Entre deux mondes...
Dire que Dubai nous ennuie serait peut etre un peu excessif (quoique), mais nous poursuivons la visite de la ville, sans élan pour tout dire.
On en a quand meme ras le bol des centres commerciaux, des rues vides sans charme, du manque de contact avec les locaux...tout ça sous 17 degrés...ou 45 selon le lieu.
Nous décidons de passer quelques heures à la plage...Jumeirah..ce nom a toujours sonné en moi..

Bahrain Day #2
... wasn’t much to see inside the fort, so I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. The gate to the driveway was closed, so I hopped over the stone wall to stroll around the fort’s exterior and then the interior wall to get some photographs. It wasn’t until I was walking back to the parking lot that a security guard hollered at me. I waved and climbed back over the stone wall to exit the fort grounds.
