    ... bikes were somewhat heavier than our previous two trips, with each bike with all necessary accessories, weighting in at about 20kg, as a result this left us with 10kg for our three pannier bags and whatever we could smuggle onto the plane as cabin luggage. We had to shed about 8kg, from our luggage! And yes, we are both a tad overweight, but will work on that!

    ... water and snacks. And then we go through, have our tickets and pass ports checked, to wait in another area. All the gates are completely separate. It's weird. Also there was a couple that was being scrutinized at the gate. They were checking their passports with magnifying glasses. It was weird. Like if they got through security and passport control, why are you checking everything so critically now? Not my problem... But the older couple they were checking out were freaking out ...
