    ... with long vistas of vineyards, the Penedès forest and the Montserrat mountains beyond. There were a lot of very old farmhouses and an old castle "Castell de Subirats" high up on a hill with a great views. After this we headed to Villafranca where we had heard they were celebrating a big fiesta. This turned out to be quite a spectacle.     ... We will miss that little monkey very much, he has brought such joy to the holiday! What a great time we had together, a rare opportunity with many treasured memories...

    Douglas and I will carry onto the area near Girona for five days, then back to Barcelona, where we will wind up our great Iberian adventure...but not quite finished yet! Let's hope for better weather for our last 9 days!
