... but we not only didn't kill each other, we had a spectacular time. Jane is my ABSOLUTE BEST traveling companion ever. Returned home (12 hours on the road, by FAR our longest stretch on the entire trip) to see some remaining snow in piles, and some ice still out in the lake and on shore in South Haven, but 40 degrees, and forecasted to get warmer next week. Seems we missed winter after January 9. Believe me, it was bad enough until then.

After a wonderful summer spent east of the Mississippi, we are finally heading west. Everything is crammed into a 5x8 trailer, our spirits are high, and we raring to go! Blueberries & Beaches

Up at dawn and we hit the ground...picking! Gia and I got an early start and picked 3 pounds of blueberries right here at our campground for only $1.25/lb. They were medium sized but sweeter than any blueberry I had ever ever tasted - like candy!
