... disagree, and without a word of rebuttal, she's off to the corner store to pick up some pudding.

Lonely Planet describes black and white pudding as being 'like meatloaf, but sausage shaped, cut into discs and fried'. Like many LP descriptions, it is woefully inadequate, for a food that is as integral to Irish cuisine as potatoes and Guinness. Black and white sausage is two sausages, often sold as a pair. The white pudding is mainly made up of pork meat and oats ...
Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland jmckerricher... low enough, you will never be disappointed" certainly does not apply to airline food. They really can't get anything right. Even the bread is sub-standard. I would be curious to know how it compares to prison food.

Michelle was a star and drove all the way to Dublin to pick me up. It was a 5 hour return trip for her, but I was greeted with genuine enthusiasm. The drive back was ...
Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland jmckerricher... she was invaluable to us.. but sometimes she did seem to falter just when we needed her the most!! Right in the middle of town! lol.

We stopped off in Kilkenny, oh and can I mention when you ask the GPS to take you to a place it will take you right to its centre.. Kilkenny was my first taste of a small street Irish city, with buses and lorries etc.. oh no... The other thing I did notice about driving in Ireland, don't expect to see too much of the ...
Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland sares12... Wow, if we did not turn into the drive we would have driven straight onto the beach. We were that close to the water. Sweet.
Driving down the lane (long driveway) we passed strange striped cows in a pasture. Then we passed a smattering of sheep. As we continued we saw two people working with the sheep and joked that our B&B host was out there in the cold wind. After about 1km we reached the house. It ...

cork, County cork, Ireland lylyetsophie... evening with Maeve's brother John and Fiance Vanessa. I'm getting quite used to these nice relaxing evenings saying goodbye for the last time to everybody, chilling out and having a few beers. We've had plenty of leaving parties, do's and soirees and I think that everybody just wants to see the back of us, and considering there were more parties for Maeve than I, I think they'll be especially glad to see her off ...
Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland royalrebel... didn't take our rain jackets. We got very wet :o( We did a day trip this morning (15 minutes away) to Tramore which is a little beach town to the south. Was cold and quiet but we imagine it would be crazy with people during summer. There were a few people in surfing though .. very keen!! Back in town this arvo checking out the sights!
Waterford, Ireland bluetriangle15... on my back. What an idiot. I was upset for about ten seconds until I realized that I have absolutely nothing I have to do and now I am just in Dublin for a few more hours. And there just so happened to be a pub next door with soccer on TV and cold beers. Life is good. Fullham is playing Chelsea. Chelsea is the best club team in the world, and Fullham features American Brian McBride, so I have someone to cheer for. Fullham pulled off the upset ...
Waterford, Ireland ckodiak(Originally published at http://www.troysgonewalkabout.com)
< br>Despite being planned for months, when it came to the crunch I really hadn’t had any time to get ready for my trip to Ireland, what with all the normal last minute pressures of getting work done and dusted before going on two weeks leave. But then with our late afternoon flight to Dublin delayed by an hour, the complimentary ticket handed to ...
Rosslare, County Wexford, Ireland troywilkinson... to the Rock (very steep hill!!)and did a self-guided tour of the abbey ruins and graveyards. The location was brilliant and gave magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. Walked back to the car park and put in 50c of our expected €2 fee only to see the gate open and we left! Drove on to Roscrea for some pictures and a postcard. Couldn't find a car park in the town so quickly ran into Roscrea Castle to get a postcard. The lady ...
