Not a whole lot of anything new to report here. Today was the first day of the 5th season in Germany, carnival season. At 11:11 am there was a parade and some kind of speech by the mayor or someone important. I didn't go because I was far too occupied sleeping. When our friends from home recently came to visit us here in Cologne, we took them on a guided tour of the city. We even explored a few places that Steve and I had never been to and one of those was a large coal mine.
