... for that matter). I love the older, more traditional cottages and this time, I'm opting for a duplex. Actually, it's a triplex! I've driven past this "barn" on many of my trips to Topsail and decided this would be the year I booked one of the 3 units it has. Nothing fancy, a bed, a bath, a kitchen and a deck on ...
... home. This time we had to pull over and spend the night close to St. Augustine in Florida.
We celebrated New Years Eve with our kids, my parents, my brother and his girlfriend (and her daughter) plus two friends. We spent more money than we should have on fireworks, but the kids had a BLAST!

... recommend this campground if coming to see Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The camp ground is in wears valley with mountains pretty much surrounding the valley. It's secluded enough to relax but only 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge and about 20 minutes to Gatlinburg. Less than 30 minutes to Cades Cove.
We will stay here again if we come up this way.
