What a wonderful trip this has been - we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to go on this ‘east coast adventure’!!

So I was in Edmonton to write the EMR exam again for the 2nd time, just the written protion. Drove to Edmonton from Calgary, even though I was there to write an exam it was really nice to just be me on my own with no one around to bother me.

This is a piece of our heritage that we should not miss out on. We travelled on a steam train from Stettle to Big Valley, had a large buffet dinner, were robbed by gun toting bandits and taken back to Stettler with the big transcontinental locomotive. A fun day and the traffic was light too.

Well this is where it all begins. After a year living and working in Edmonton I decided to move on to something else and I accepted a job in Calgary. I also managed to sweet talk my way into having 5 weeks off before starting my new job, so off I go. ... boarding Singapore Air for 19 and a half hours. This lands us in Singapore at 11:30am on October 1. We've got books, cards, food and smiles with us, so hopefully the flight won't seem quite so long. We are going to miss our families and friends very very much!!!
