... looking at my phone when it happened! When we got almost to St. Louis, we got off the highway to go to a place called Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park. I read this was the best spot to get a picture of the Arch and the St. Louis skyline. When we got there we had the place to ourselves so we got some great photos! Once we got to Far Far Away, Bilbo showed us his importance to the group. He did not have to come with us to defeat Lord Farquaad but his Tolk side wanted to. He transformed into a huge troll and started tearing up the town in front of Lord Farquaad's castle. Lord Farquaad sent out his secret weapon though. His gigantic cookie man. Bilbo was smarter than the cookie man so he gathered up cartons of milk and when the cookie man was in sight, Bilbo, Shrek, and Fiona threw the cartons of milk ...

... by the river. This gave us easy access to the Mississippi showboat which we travelled on and then up the famous Gateway Arch. The Arch was built as a monument to the city as it has always been classed as the Gateway to the West. Where the rivers and roads went through. The lifts are like a small decompression chamber holding five people and you are unable to stand up in them, this enables them to swing as they go round the top arch. It was a fabulous day, but while this ...
