At one point I stormed out of a store much to the dismay of the shop owner. To be fair Steven did have a point but I was in no mood for it at the time. ... ok allow us to go sailing!) Apparently the British gave them their love of bureaucracy and paperwork! I haven't got a clue what I need the pass for, but my understanding is that you need a port pass to get onto the jetty area. To get a port pass you need the right sort of visa, apparently a multi entry tourist visa is not good, a 72 hour transit visa is, but you can only get one of those in India, and they only last 3 days, I've been here 5 weeks.
