... driveway. While packing, several friends dropped by for a tour of our vacation home on wheels. We had my birthday dinner in the RV and I opened presents. Darin and Piper gave me 2 more Alex and Ani bangles, the starfish and Buddha, and I got a GoPro Hero 4! Surprise! Penny climbed in and hung out while I put stuff away. She seems to like it. ... and Crystal River, so that goes on the itinerary for sure and I have always wanted to stay at Ft. Wilderness Campground at WDW, so add that on too. We are renting the a 32' Sunseeker by Forest River from D & H RV Center in Apex, NC. I also got quotes from 2 other rental companies in the Triangle, but D & H was a better deal and they are really nice folks. The RV is HUGE! It's the only size they rent, so we will go with it. Bugging Out

Second snowstorm in a week heading to Raleigh. The forecast is 6-10" of snow. Since we don't want to miss our flight to Hawaii from Charlotte, we packed up the trailer, took it to storage, and headed to our son Zack's place for a couple of days. We arrived in Charlotte at 6:00pm, just in time to hit the start of the snowstorm.

Sunday, we leave for Hawaii. We are ready!!

We had an early dinner and went to bed.

Next step will be to get ready for Hawaii.

Happy Trails,

... After lunch, Sheila and I headed west to Iowa to donate the Prius and more importantly see our granddaughter Isabelle. On the way to Iowa, we decided to stop by our Kentucky lot to make sure it was still there!! We ended up stopping just outside of Nashville. Tomorrow, we will stop at the lot and then head to Iowa City.

Attached is a picture of me in my Hawaiian garb and the Prius.

Thanks everyone for a great day. . ...
