Today has been a good day the pancake lady was back, so I had pancakes for breakfast. As we were leaving today by train at 1.30pm and we didn't need to check out until noon, we took the opportunity to visit the Lamas Temple. This temple has working monks and the Buddha statues are in the Tibetan style. It opens at 9am and there was a queue of the …

... of course it lead to a discussion as to whether or not China should have similar gun control rights like the US. This discussion was actually very thoughtful and the students were respectful of their fellow students opinions. Of course, I challenged them with well, what about this, type questions but with out fail they give me their opinion building on the last. I also have to bundle up a little when riding my e bike. I just drive so fast -at 30km/hr the wind is so cold. Another great thing about the mask, it keeps my face warm ;) I am always learning new things while in China. The other day I was talking to fellow Canadian teachers, and they were telling ...

I got lost for 3 hours in the streets of zhengzhou. Ended up back at my hotel at 2am. I asked 4 different cab drivers (some of the cab drivers while I was on the street of the hotel) where to go, none of them knew what I was saying. Good exercise I guess?

Here are some pictures I took on this journey..I should of taken more but wanted to reserve battery on my phone if i happened to find some wireless somewhere.
