Ramada Plaza Hotel & Conference Center Meriden

OK, so there were 9 of us for Thanksgiving at Mom's this year! What a surprise...it went from 2 then to 4 then all of a sudden people were showing up left and right. It was great.

I flew into Boston and got a great rental car with Satellite radio...listened to interviews with Depak Chopra and Barbara Walters who each have new books ...

... and locked on the back rack of our motor home. The Person brought their own bolt cutters and clean cut both cables and slip the bike off the rack in the middle of Thanksgiving night. We give thanks for those who steal other peoples property for band door profit.

The first thing i did is go to my best friend Juliana birthday party and i was the only one to come because all other friends ditch her sec for me i was happy i was happy to go because everybody who was suppose to come didn't watch the other blind side and we went out to eat they should come Juliana just turn 15 year old she is so cool and she is my best friend forever.....:D

After a restless night at the airport I waited with the crowds for the 6:45 a.m. flight out to Dallas, but again had no prayer of getting on. Back at the hotel, Chris and I finished up our foodstuffs, then walked to Max Fish for appetizers to complete our dinner. We packed up, showered and were in bed early, but I was too excited to sleep, so I finished my Ruth Rendell book, Death Notes.

After a full day of driving we said good-bye to Jack and Jan, then went for a walk, stopping by Whole Foods to pick up a couple of food items to eat for dinner back in the room. We marveled over the perfect weather--68, sunny with a few clouds and a light breeze. We were really fortunate.

Woke to a cloudy, rainy day and went for a seven mile walk. For lunch we ate soup, then Jan and I went downtown to the Mark Twain House Tour. We missed the parking lot and ended up parking on the street, which was fine, although a bit damp. The tour was interesting, but we both agreed it seemed dark and dreary inside, and would have better viewed on a sunny day with light streaming in the beautiful stained glass windows. ... that you would need an entire week to see everything in this museum. Imagine only having 1.5 hours. Well, at least we can say we were at the Louvre and can check that one off the very long list of things to see in our lifetime.

After that, we had some great fun navigating more metro lines and RER lines to finally make it to the airport, wait in an unnecessarily long check in line, followed by a long security line only to be paged in ...
