... We headed down to the ground for the 11:30 start, sitting in the seats pretty much on the boundary line. Northampton batted first and made a decent total of 190 in their twenty overs, one of the openers batting through and getting 91 not out. We tried to avoid eating much food today as we were getting picked up at 6:30 ...

Met 2 German youths at breakfast and we all shared a taxi to Pashupaninath temple to see the remnants of the big Shiva festival of the day before. It was remenicent of Glastonbury the day after, just rubbish everywhere. But still lots of people around and we saw a body only 2hrs dead being taken to a cremation ghatt near the river ...

... up I saw her bedroom curtains open, oh no!!! Hope she doesn't see me! I managed to get out and to the door where her mum was waiting :-) eeeeeek, I was so excited! I went upstairs and knocked on the door where I heard a very sleepy/grumpy 'yeh' haha and I walked in. AGAIN yet another totally shocked face! 'Oh my god' she said haha. We gave each other a big hug ...
