      We said goodbye to Lindsay, Ian, Jack and Mattie in Rugby and headed off to Denby Dale via a slightly circuitous route taking in Wollaton Hall and Chatsworth House.
      Jen, Tom, Ellie and Sophie gave us a warm village welcome. We spent the next day getting a taste of village life as we explored lovely Denby Dale - we visited the local church display of the twelve days of Christmas and a fair at the nursery school.

We live in the "Western Society". most towns are filled with the same chain stores, franchised restaurants and coffee shops, and the same cars.
