... our table. Once it gets dark and the falls are lit you here a lot of wows!! It really is cool but I guess I wanted more. Not sure what, but something to really say WOW!! look at that!!!

Our campground is a nice easy 15 minute ride from the falls and we are enjoying our stay. We will be here until Friday when we move to Pennsylvania. Moving our way to Florida but very, very slowly:)) ...

... Erie, PA, a place neither Lewis or I had been before. It was neat to see the old buildings filled with funky shops. It has that old village feel, minus the charm. Taking route 5 (an official Scenic Byway that follows the outline of Lake Erie) was really great, and kind of what this trip is all about. We got to see stunning views of the lake (did you know Lake Erie had cliffs?! I didn't), pretty little creeks meandering to the lake, and more vineyards than I have seen in a long time. ...

... eroded the earth into a deep canyon…very cool J We explored both the “American Falls” and “Horseshoe Falls” as best you can from the American side. I do hope to return to spend a long weekend exploring “Cave of the Mist” or whatever that feature is called that you actually walk behind the falls. The boats like “Maid of the Mist” don’t seem quite as appealing to me… the people below ...

Went out to a wine vineyard today, to test out ice wine for the first time, before we headed into niagarra on the lake Niagarra on the lake is a beautiful little town with old wooden houses and the beautiful surroundings of Lake Ontario, which we could just make out Toronto downtown from, straight across the lake it's is 28km to Toronto will the highway around it is 107 km ...

... West. Progress only impeded by several rest stops - both for passengers as well as the Suburban. Our trusty Suburban often will get 20+ mpg on highway driving, but towing our camper we're pretty much at the 10 mpg mark. That takes our 500 mile travel range down to a messily 250.

The scenery was very nice - The Berkshires are still lush and green. The Hudson River ...
