... Being Sunday they were not working but out walking in family groups. We have now crossed into New York State. Our trip was mainly on freeways where the speed limit is 70 miles per hour. There is no reduction for trucks or for vehicles towing and the speed we get passed by is sometimes amazing. It seems that the 70 mph is only a guide line and upwards from there is okay. ... from the Canadian side. Very spectacular.

As our hotel room wasn't ready yet, we left our car and luggage there and headed out to explore. Across the road from the hotel was an Inclinator that took us down the mountain to the edge of the falls. We then did a Behind the Falls tour, which took you down an elevator into a tunnel built in the mountain behind the Falls. The noise of the falling water was deafening, but what a ...

... out most of the State Park, mum suggested doing the Cave of the Winds which sounded cool. Some diplomatic discussion ensued consisting of a lot of 'I don't minds', before I got fed up and made everyone respond with either a yes or a no. Decision made.

So we got tickets, got sandals, got ponchos, and headed down. Then we got wet! Absolutely amazing experience. Just so good. You walk down the side of the American Falls and get right up close to the ...
