... food here is fantastic they have their own kitchen garden, after self serve homemade waffles and granola for breakfast, we had lovely fresh sandwiches/taco's for lunch. Eating at the outdoor breakfast bar overlooking the sea and watching the humming birds dart around the flowers and trees was just perfect. I'd never seen humming birds before, they look like little 'snitches' from the quidditch game in Harry Potter!

One very cool adventure so far has to be the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I'm sure my enjoyment has nothing to do with the behind-the-glass tour of the penguins or the in-the-exhibit feeding of the seabirds. This is a top pick!

... the land has dropped off make it feel not the safest place to be. A couple of places the road was gone or damaged and there were crews working to rebuild the roads, sending us into one lane. I don't think I would want to drive this stretch of road if it is raining.
