    ... amazing views of North Carolina on one side and Tennessee on the other, with Roan Mountain in between. I stopped and had the hard boiled egg that was included in my trail magic goodies, then continued on to Jane Bald, which was higher than Round Bald and had even better views.     ... each hour on the hour but the unusually cold and snowy conditions closed the track the day we were there. It was too treacherous with the ice and snow to safely get around. We drove around the track trying to find an open gate to take some pics of the track but to no avail.
