... That said, superslabs proved quite useful in navigating around some of the more populated areas. There are few things more miserable than being stuck in rural sprawl gridlock when it's 86, sunny and on a bike. A couple other items of note:
- went one exit, went home to get oil this morning. Boxers burn oil.
- GPS fuse got tripped when I loctited the battery screws. Ended up having to fix that at a gas station in PA.
- Brake failure ...
So this post is coming late, but we both arrived safely and its been over a month now... We are now both official lifeguards in the US of A Wahoooooo!!!! Session 1 has passed and we are nearly at the end of session 2. The kids are great and camp is going really well despite illness and bad weather. We are both fully trained in belaying and qualified ...
... and sister-in-law? We enjoyed a few delightful hours eating breakfast on the porch, drawing, and chatting before it was time to make the final drive on to Plymouth to return our Bessie. Thanks Jer and Delise for welcoming us back to our home state and with wonderful hugs and enthusiasm. Thanks, too, to my brother Jeremy for being my most faithful blog follower. It was such a boost every time we got a comment from you along the way. We love you guys!!!!
Said goodbye to the beautiful Montpelier this morning. We reached the northern most point of our journey. The plan for the day was to head off to Queechee Gorge as recommended by someone we met in Portland. So we fueled the car, plugged the address into the GPS and headed off.

Trying to pack light because of the long trip, many transfers, and tight quarters in the RV and on cruise ship. We were spoiled last cruise as had a HUGE family promenade room on Freedom of the Seas.
