    New York to Huntington

Well avid readers we escaped from New York. Didn't they make a movie about that? With Kurt Russell about a giant prison. Our destination was Huntington because we always seem to end up in dodgy places. Huntington is the second-largest city in West Virginia and the self-proclaimed "Weenie Capital of the East." Situated along the banks of the Ohio River, Huntington is home to Marshall University a state-supported ...

    Heading to North Carolina

Took off from Illinois at about 9:00. We drove about 600 miles
and boondoggled (Sheila says boondocked, not sure which one is right) at a rest
area in Ashland, Kentucky. Tomorrow, we have about 400 miles to go to get to
Zack’s. With an early start, we should get there about 2:00pm.

    Happy Trails,

We each made a paper boat and had a boat race. Mia's should have been the Titanic as it sunk fairly soon ...

... be outside. There is a guest annex that has a living room that can sleep two, a bedroom, a bath and another terrace. There's also a swimming pool there. The family wanted a pool but Wright thought it would detract from the natural waterfall so he put it up where no one can see it unless you're in the annex. This building also contained a 4 car carport to hide the cars away - they also detracted from ...

... declining cognitively. Now the question remains - what to do. Do we give up her apartment or not? I wrestled with it until about 3:00 this morning and as usual came up with no solution. I'm worried about Mom but am also worried about Helen Jo. She admittedly cries at the drop of a hat. I don't see Jerry and me taking any more trips in the near future as being away from Mom and Helen Jo is just too ******* them. Being ...
