... and quickly surveyed the mall. Plotting a route which avoided tollways, we made the short but winding trek to Janesville, WI. We arrived on schedule to the Kyukido Academy just in time to change and stretch before the 1:30 class. Head Master Holden's class was fun, challenging, and just the thing to work out our vacation kinks. ... we listened to the Master share about the importance of respecting ourselves, others, and the space and time we occupy. He closed by exhorting us to make the most of every opportunity we have to train. Before inviting us out for food and conversation the Bjorquists shared about some of their school curriculum and blessed our kids with light saber swords and Huntley Kyukido t-shirts. As of last week I have been accepted to teach abroad in China for an entire year starting this February 2015 with CIEE (Council on International Education and Exchange)! I cannot wait to see what I can offer the other side of the world and vise versa :) I won't be updating my blog much before I leave, but will try to keep up to date once I start my adventure on the other side of the world. I will ideally being doing at least 2 entires a week...fingers crossed.

Wow, this is probably the first blog that I am writing myself....If Bill is nice, I'll let him put in his two cents. LOL

I couldn't wait to get to Illinois. My baby boy was getting married. It was such a wonderful welcome pulling up to his place. Him and Kaitlin had a beautiful flower garden planted, grass nicely mowed and three of my furry grand-puppies running up to greet us. Andy had our RV spot cleared and ...
