... the lounge . . . I changed into comfy clothing . . . while Carol relaxed in bed . . . I went to the lounge for about 45 minutes and enjoyed a Courvoisier (cognac). . . in a snifter (because they had no Sambuca!!). The Spanish guitar player was very good . . . but because his in between banter was so heavily accented, I couldn't understand him very well! But, the music was good!!j
I put a couple of bucks in the tip jar and called it a night!! See you tomorrow!
Its uphill the whole way to the needle and the sun has decided to bless our journey upwards with its heat on our backs. Im impressed with the needle although surprised it isn't taller. I imagine the top is secretly a form of futuristic space ship cleverly disguised ready for an escape if theres an apocalypse, that or just a architectural triumph.
The view from the top is windy but wonderful! Im rubbish with heights so don't spend too much time on the outer ...
