Day three in the Big Brother House

... it". What a laugh!

So after a lardy and boozy day I got back and did some exercise right? No we all gathered around the big brother dinning table and consumed more wine, cheese and some fabulous pizzas.

What I read: A couple more wine tasting menus – load of loquacious old fluff they were!

What I saw. A ****** churned up freeway leading to some beautiful back woods wine country.

What I watched. California State Parks – ...

Just cos I am English doesn’t mean I know th

Finally at Rancho Wickiooooo I could relax a bit. Fortunately coffee and food was on hand and after I had negotiated the proper etiquette for preparing an English muffin I was reconstituted and ready for some wino touring. A word of warning at this point – anyone who was following Hadders' wine and walkabout earlier in the year would have seen how to write about wine – I, however, can spot a red one from a white one ...

I heard there was a secret chord...

... refreshing to have 5 people who are completely different get along so well. The problem with living in a new place, city, country every three months is that you are never around your friends long enough.

Not to mention as soon as you don't have to map quest every single little direction, it's time to move.

I am excited for new things because I love new things, but seriously.. I'm so not Vancouver.

It's a rare occasion such as this...

... WTF?) lasagna. Tonight we eat like pigs.

Tomorrow it's Canadian Thanksgiving. Good luck finding a ****ing turkey in Hippie-ville 6 weeks before American Thanksgiving. All I can find is a "free-range organic" place that has a 20lb turkey for....wait for it............................ 150 DOLLARS! Get faaaaaacked.

Tomorrow we eat chicken.

and lasagna leftovers.

In other news... I'm stoked for Halloween.

kim + greg = napa wedding

... the whole time--that's what organization does for ya. greg was just trying not the cry the whole time. (don't deny it, we have photos).

i believe the day went off without a hitch. mark marschall, the master of ceremonies, did a fantastic job, as did other friends and family who contributed to the ceremony. i liked jeff's ball analogy the best. heh heh. (i really did --it was all about balance). and chris hit a ...

More wine country

... The tour was pretty interesting. The winery was filled with walls and walls of bottles, as well as huge wine casks. It was a nice little field trip.

On the way to the camp ground, we stopped to see some of giant redwoods. A forest of redwoods is so neat to see. There was a tree that had fallen over, and it was so huge, that we could all easily crawl inside the base.

Road Trip

... cold, then I grab a room across the road. I check in, have a shower, about as hot as I can stand it still trying to warm up. I wake up the next day to frigid temps... 5 degress F. I warm the old girl up, scrape the frost off the windshield, hit the gas station, and once again off down the road. About 5 miles into the drive i look up into the rearview and notice white smoke, UH OH! I pull over and there's anti-freeze EVERYWHERE! UH OH! I pop the hood, and ...

Enjoying Sonoma wines.

... didn't charge me an arm and a leg (only $28 dollars). The night before and 40 min before leaving my sister's house I was trying to even out the bags but it came to be almost impossible. So I opted to just stuff the reminder of my stuff in one luggage and hope for the best. At the airport, I decided to spend my few reminding hours looking at shops and buying books, & magazines for my trip to Tokyo. Ironically, I didn't read a thing! But anyway, I got on board ...

California Dreamin'

... things don't affect our caring. Our home is not our spiritual sanctuary, though we do feel a deep sense of place on the land where we live. Our spiritual enrichment comes from the every day functions, from the love of family and F/friends, and from the beauty of the earth. Thank you Tom, for your curiosity and caring questions. We'll now turn back to our walk experiences: We were delighted to be worshiping with Grass Valley Friends again and were happy to see old ...

You can either ask for a custom-made wooden table for your veranda and enjoy your meals surrounded by the wildlife, or you can go to the indoor dining of the Safari West surrounded with African murals and artifacts.
