... philosopher's game - phooey! Today we were visiting Muir Park which is home to the Coastal Redwood tree and a short drive from SF across the Golden Gate Bridge. These trees are pretty impressive, they are a type of Sequoia and grow to around three hundred feet tall, fifteen feet in diameter and live for around 1500 years. ... climb, and near the top there are 8 sharp turns. I will add a picture when I get home because my words cannot do it justice. Cars wait for hours just to go back down the hill when they get to the top, apparently it's the most windy road in the world! We made it to the top, and then walked all the way back down to the wharf, where we caught a shuttle back to the Union Square and walked back to the hotel.

... off the sea. Sandra and Maaaike were tempted by every shop we walked past - all so different, very "sunny" and friendly! We sat outside listening to live jazz music, and i had my first seafood chowder in a sour dough bowl! Awesome! Then a long walk and bus back to thehotel, whre we collapsed into bed at about 9 oclock, completely confused in our boddy clocks, for a very fitfull sleep. I think this jet lag thing will take a while to sort out!

... nervous about how small it is, but after packing for 5 days I'm realizing that I really don't need that much. So long as I have a backpack too, there is plenty of space.

This whole blog thing is new to me, so please bear with me while I get used to it. I'm actually really hoping to keep this up!! And also, please know that I am an awful speller. Truly, it's bad; but, I will try my best to keep it contained!
