We got into town around 745. I made a quick dash up to the hostel and checked in for the day which gave me use of all their facilities & luggage storage for $10. I then jumped on tinterweb to make arrangements to meet up with Shaun. He suggested a nearby cafe in half an hour. Jobs a good un. It wasn't until I got to the cafe I realized I was still drunk. Having had a full day, I decided to skip the return trip and headed to the beach instead, dunking my well deserved achy feet into the cool waters of the San Francisco Bay. One last stop - Ghiraidelli Square (home of America's longest existing chocolatier) before heading back to the hostel for the night where I sat watching the sunset over the Golden Gate bridge.
