Our next stop was the Beidenharn House & Museum. This was the home of the man who was the original bottler of Coka Cola. We saw the lovely home & its gardens that had been built in the early 1900's. ... out for dinner (supper) so it was around 9 pm before we ate. No restaurants in Lina June's little town of Byers Texas, so had to drive 1/2 hour to a truck stop, just over the border in Oklahoma- so got to enter another state. We went through the store entrance and were greeted by a tall white haired gentlemen working as security. He said hello and offered no rules as we walked past him with our cameras. ... Mom - we were chatting about our kid's intense medical history, etc. She was encouraged to create a brochure about her son's syndrome, medical history, etc. Believe me, there are times when it's much easier to hand a brochure instead of asking the medical professional, "do you have a week....?" She carries them with her in her bag. I think it's even a good idea to have everywhere we go!
